Restriction
from "Malediction"
(Buy on Etsy)

A cage on an iron chain
is my abode for the time being,
hanging suspended above ten thousand unlit candles
“Restriction,” I thought, could save me
from my most grotesquely destructive Self.
But it only made my hate more apparent
Hanging above this charred void
is a soul I’ve tied in knots
to aimlessly try to pick up a key
The key to the All I seek
to destroy this black prison
as my hatred burns the world.
